NEWSLETTER 1

Date 9th September 2008

Dear Parents,

This is a remarkable occurrence, a Newsletter on only the second week of the term. I have brought forward the publication of this Newsletter because I wanted to try to add you with more information regarding the building work and some of the implications for the children and yourselves.

However more important things first

WELCOME

..to all new children and parents to our school and on behalf everyone who works here, we all hope that the second day and every one thereafter are as enjoyable and special as the first day.

Building work

The extension to C5C is well underway and despite the wet weather that has dogged everything this summer the work is only a few days behind schedule. The existing roof has now been removed and hopefully by Friday we will be watertight again.

The main path will be out of use for at least at month, hence the arrangements put in place last week. Every child found their way to the yard and there does not appear to be any problem with the Reception children either. We will continue with this arrangement for the time being.
