FESTIVE FORTIETH
George Dixon, previously Head teacher at Heighington CE Primary School has played the organ and been involved in forty carol services with the staff and pupils of the school at St Michael?s Church. Since his retirement as head teacher, George has continued his regular involvement with the school, sharing his musical talents, by accompanying the children in rehearsals and as organist in the church for their Christmas carol services.
This year marks the fortieth year that George has been involved in the carol services. The carol service will be held on Wednesday 20 December at 6.30pm at St Michael?s Church, Heighington. The staff and pupils all wish to say a big thank you for the commitment, enthusiasm and laughter he has brought to the present and previous generations.
