This award though was for the whole school: the staff who are a brilliant team, the pupils who are a dream to work with and the parents who are so supportive. This school is fundamentally a village school and our vision, values and aims are designed around that aspect but our aspirations for the children will always be high. Every child has talents and we will endeavour to find a way to bring those talents out and to celebrate the successes of every child. What does the future hold? Well, education is changing so rapidly that this is hard to predict. I welcome the opportunity to bring greater creativity into our work, and to place a greater emphasis on the Arts but there are still more dramatic changes ahead. The potential for ICT is still only just being developed but we will be working to ensure our children are given every opportunity to experience the very best provision. |
